Farmers Trust and Savings Bank Welcomes Ryan Porath, as the Newest Ag Lender

January 2019 - Farmers Trust and Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Ryan Porath has joined the bank as an Ag Lender. Ryan has over 16 years of experience in Ag Lending—and has been with a community bank in Iowa Falls since 2004 before coming to Farmers Bank. Porath will help expand and enhance how Farmers Bank can further serve the many farm and ag business customers with their operating and capital needs.

Porath is a native of Emmetsburg, IA. Ryan and his wife Tricia will live in Spencer with 2 of their children, and their oldest daughter resides in Cedar Falls, IA where she is attending the University of Northern Iowa. He has a lifetime of experience in agriculture and earned a Master of Science degree in Agriculture from Northwest Missouri State University. Porath has been very active in his communities including serving on many committees, local service clubs, church committees, and his children’s school activities.
